Installation and Setup

Run Apex Fitness locally using XAMPP, Laragon, or MAMP, or deploy it to compatible PHP and MySQL hosting. The guided installer helps check the environment, configure database credentials, create database tables, set up gym branding, and create the administrator account.

An optional demo dataset is provided to explore sample memberships, billing records, and check-ins before configuring the system for your gym.

Important Notes

The billing module supports invoice records and manual payment logging. The README does not document a live payment gateway, so online payment processing should not be advertised as included.
